The Kilkenny Local Association of An Taisce (National Trust for Ireland) is concerned with heritage and the environment.

There are regular meetings consisting of talks by invited speakers. 

Recent topics included the archaeology of Kilkenny City, vernacular field gates, and a guided walk of a heritage forest.

These are public events and everyone is welcome.

The Committee meets monthly.
