Handball is played year round. Irish courts (60 x 30) are used during the summer (May to September) and the American courts (40 x 20) are used during the winter (October to April).

Clubs are located at Clogh, Galmoy, Goresbridge, Kells, Kilfane, Lisdowney, Mothel, Muckalee, Mullinavat, O’Loughlins (Kilkenny), Talbot’s Inch (Kilkenny) and Windgap.
