Any child of primary school age (four years upwards) is entitled to attend the school. Children are accepted into the school depending only on available places and the school is open to all, irrespective of religious, social or cultural background.

There are no fees and pupils are admitted on a non-discriminatory basis according to their date of application for enrolment.

The school employs fully qualified national teachers. A full primary school curriculum, as approved by the Department of Education, is taught in the school. Swimming, Spanish, Basketball, Educational Gymnastics, Soccer, Hurling, Drama and Dance are also included as part of the curriculum.
