Kilkenny Talking Newspaper Association for the Blind

Kilkenny Talking Newspaper Association for the Blind was founded in October 1992 and is a registered charity. The first edition was recorded on 12 May 1993.

Any person who is registered with the National Council for the Blind can receive the usb key. To receive a usb key, contact the Community Resource Worker for the Blind and Visually impaired.

The Association is made up of volunteers who meet on a weekly basis to record the usb keys. The keys are recorded at the National Council for the Blind and are sent Freepost courtesy of An Post that night. The service is completely free of charge.

Volunteers are needed to edit, record and read the paper.  If interested, please contact us!
