Music has always played a very important part in the life of Slieverue National School. It was always school policy that each child be given the opportunity to appear at least once on the stage of the Theatre Royal in Waterford in Feile na Scoileanna. This was an annual non-competitive festival of children performing on stage.

This choir is part of the Hallelujah Choir and entertains the patients in St. Patrick's Hospital Waterford at Christmas. We have been travelling to Dublin over the past number of years to be part of the 9000 strong Hallelujah choir in the RDS and The Point.
