Kilkenny City Vocational School provides a fully comprehensive curriculum in a learning environment that responds to the needs of each individual student regardless of ability level and aspires to an education that will prepare all students academically, vocationally, spiritually, physically and morally for the work/life ahead of them after school.

Kilkenny City Vocational School has 9 classrooms, Art Room, Assembly Hall, Science Laboratory, 2 Computer Rooms, 2 Woodwork Rooms, 2 Metalwork Rooms, 1 Learning Support Room, 1 Parents Room, School Library, Career Guidance Office, Counselling Room, Leaving Certificate Applied Office, and Learning Support/Junior Certificate Schools Programme.

The School provides a range of student supports including: Counselling, Transfer Programme, Lectures, Seminars and Workshops, Book Rental Scheme, Student Council, Breakfast Club, Lunchtime Club, Mentoring, After School Study/Homework Club.  The Form Teachers and Year Heads are also available to offer help and support where required.
